At last I have updated this site including the forthcoming shoots, Links and For
Sale section. Please pop back now and then as I will be trying to improve what is on the site.
ABOUT THIS SITE
Welcome to a site especially for
Essex
an Suffolk Archers. Over the last couple of years I have become increasingly frustrated by society politics and misunderstanding
between different disciplines in Archery. I AM AN ARCHER. Not a target archer or a field archer nor do I only shoot GNAS, EFAA or NFAS.
I will happily shoot all styles of
archery under any societies rules..
But where do you find all the shoot
details from all the clubs across Essex and Suffolk?
Well hopefully that’s where this web site is aiming. This Web site will include club information, shoot reports,
tuning, links to clubs, links to suppliers, Second hand archery equipment people want to sell and anything else to do
with archery.

New Club
There is a new archery club, which has been started in Burnham on Crouch.
The Bowmen of the Dengie Shoot outdoors on an all weather surface from 16:00 on
Mondays and on Thursday 18:00 to 20:00
They shoot at St Peters school and welcome
beginers or competent archers from 8 years old and up.
Having visited the club (and joined) there is a great atmosphere, a relaxed attitude
and great enthusiasm from the members. The club has managed to gain youth grants, lottery funding and local donations in its
first year. All through the enthusiasm of some of the clubs younger members. (shame other clubs are not as proactive)
If you want to know more phone 07968105322
If you are a member of a club and want
to let me know of any open shoots you are running or even just an invite to come to a shoot please drop me a line and I will
put it on the site.
I fully understand that you have to
be a member of the society to which the host club are affiliated, but an increasing amount of archers, like myself, are members
of all the societies which have clubs in Essex.
So increase your shoot entries and
maybe even your club membership by letting the rest of us know what you have to offer. Or why not go and visit someone else
and make new friends at other clubs.
